What we collect and why

Our forms collect your name, email address, optional telephone and company details, site postcode or area, service choice and the details you provide. Calculator selections and estimates are included when you request a quote. Please do not include tenant information, access codes or other sensitive details in an initial website enquiry.

We use this information to respond, prepare quotes, agree scope and arrange inspections. Processing needed to take steps towards a contract is carried out for that purpose. We also have a legitimate interest in handling business enquiries, maintaining appropriate records and protecting our website from misuse.

Who receives your enquiry

Wix hosts this website and stores form submissions. Enquiries are sent to our bookings team at bookings@safetyig.com and handled by the SIG staff who need them to respond. Service delivery and email systems may also process information needed for your requested work.

Wix may process data internationally. Information about its processing and safeguards is available in Wix’s privacy policy.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond, follow up your request and maintain relevant business records. Where an enquiry becomes a job, the records required for that work, accounting and any applicable obligations are kept according to those purposes. Contact us if you want information about retention of a particular enquiry.

Cookies and third-party content

The website does not add advertising trackers. Hosting and form services may use necessary technologies for operation and security. The TopRatedElectricians badge loads an image from that provider; your browser sends technical request information when it loads. Links to Google reviews, Certly and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy notices.

Your rights and contact

You may request access to your personal information, correction or deletion, restriction of processing, or object where applicable. Other rights, including portability, depend on the reason for processing. Contact bookings@safetyig.com or call 0113 479 4790. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
